The two most important days of your life.

I find this quote genuinely powerful. Not in an abstract, motivational-poster kind of way — but because I've lived it.

If you're new here, I talk a lot about careers, purpose, and the moment people finally figure out the work they were meant to do. This quote sits right at the heart of that.

I've Been There Too

I've been on this exploration myself. I know what it feels like to search for the "why" and come up empty for a long time. And I know what it feels like on the other side of finding it — doing work that's truly aligned with who I am.

And now? I get to witness that exact moment happen for other people. Regularly. It's one of the great privileges of what I do.

A Question Worth Sitting With

A while back, a potential client asked me something before she committed to working together. She said she understood I couldn't guarantee everyone finds the "perfect job" — but she had one question she wanted answered honestly first: based on my experience, how likely were people to find their dream job, or something close to it, after completing the full coaching program?

It's a fair question. Probably the most honest one anyone's ever asked me before starting. And it comes from exactly the same place this quote does — that quiet doubt so many people carry, that maybe there isn't a "right" thing out there for them at all. That maybe everyone else gets a why, and they just... won't.

I explained to her that it looks different for everyone — there's no single formula, no guaranteed endpoint that looks the same for every person. What I could promise was the process: real clarity on who she is and what she's built for, and a clear path always seems to emerge from there. That was enough for her to agree to start straight away.

Five weeks in, she sent me a message that said the sessions always feel incredibly valuable, that the personal summaries I put together for her genuinely feel empowering, and that I keep managing to give her a different perspective on things right when she feels stuck. She told me she already feels so much better than at the start of the journey — that all the restrictions that seemed to pile up in her head have somehow turned into possibilities, and that it's simply empowering.

That's not me sharing this to boast. I'm sharing it because five weeks ago, she wasn't sure this would work for her at all. And now she's in it — properly in it — doing the work of finding her why.

The Moment Itself

It's always a defined moment. A penny drop. An epiphany.

"Oh. I've been looking at this all wrong."

It's like someone reaches over and flicks a light on in a room that's been dim for years — and suddenly everything makes sense.

I am endlessly grateful to be present for that moment, again and again.

My Life's Mission

That's what I do this for now — helping people find their why, when they're open and ready to start looking. Not because I can guarantee a perfect outcome. Nobody honestly can. But because I've seen, over and over, what happens when someone finally gets clear on who they are and what they're built for.

If that's you — if you're ready to start exploring — I'd love to hear from you. Reach out whenever you're ready. Book in a free career chat.

I'll be here.
